I have a crv car from honda, and i connect my ipod to the car via usb and it plays the music but it no longer shows the song on the car touch-screen panel like it used to. And it says the ipod is no longer connected, but the music is playing through out the car. Is their any way to make the song and make it say its connected again because its a problem to no longer change song via touch screen.

buddy of mine had the connection problem and screen problem, software update was what it was for him give it a go

I have a 98 Honda civic ex and the check engine light is blown. How do I know it’s blown? It’s throwing a check engine code but the light isn’t on. So i’d like to know how to replace it and how hard it actually is to replace it.

So you went to go pull codes for kicks and giggles and found out your ecu was throwing a code but your light isn’t on. This is a common thing most people do before selling their car. They take the bulb out so the check engine isn’t lit up when they show it to a seller. It’s just a bulb. You can just replace the whole tach. I’ve seen a lot of civic tachs for sale for pretty cheap.

What will i need to put an engine with a d16y7 block and a d16z6 head in my 1993 honda civic cx?

my engine blew in my civic cx and i have a chance to use an engine with a minime swap already performed with a d16y7 block and a d16z6 head.i only have the block and head themselves available (not exhaust, intake, ect.).how can i put this in my civic, what will i need, and what can i reuse from whats already under the hood?

bodykit can give u areodynamics but horspower is out of the question. it all rests in the engine itself. so lets start with how to tune ur civic to over 800 hp.
first, most important, engine swap. i suggest a rotary engine since its small, 1.3 liters with 280 hp. increase the size to 2.0 liters and you got over 400 horspower no question. turbo’s are next. a single turbo can tune ur car to over 500 hp, twin turbo or supercharger gets u over 600 hp. take a twin turbo since they run on gas fumes while the supercharger runs on the engine belt, giving no lag but uses up gas very fast. next is the transmission. the transmission can add 100 hp if its the right transmission. 700 hp no question.if u also take a good muffler or exhaust valve for ur turbo u can get an extra 50 hp. next comes the right ignition system and air intake can add 50 hp, so that totals to over 800 hp. if you want u can change the whole body to carbon fiber and that can make ur car look like a 1200 hp monster because of the power to weight ratio. u could smoke a bugatti veyron no problem, just hope ur car can stick to the ground since its gonna be so lightweight. its quite expensive so stick with the turbochargers once u have the money

You’re talking in real life I am assuming?
Well, a sticker isn’t going to give your car HP, neither is a Body Kit. What is under the hood serves the HP.
People use body kits to make their cars look sporty, fast, and also expensive. And spoilers are usually over $100 for an average one. As for a body kit, you’re going to want a lot more money.
Like I said, it all counts on what’s under the hood. Say your car is 230HP. Putting a couple decals and some body kit isn’t going to give you the Tokyo Drift dream car, if that’s what you were told I am sorry to say that’s not going to happen. An Engine is going to run you well over $50 my friend. Specially if you’re looking for Turbos!

Why are you so strict on having 500HP? It would cost you SO much less and work to go out and buy a Muscle Car or something, because you would need garages to install everything. If you’re looking for a car with over 500HP, go buy one. Because like I said, it’s not worth going through all the money and work.

You have it a little wrong a wing add 175hp, stickers add 38hp(120hp if going down hill), and a body kit will add 195hp on sunny days and when there is a half moon only on tuesdays though

I doubt it. He had good momentum at the end of last year and this year he’s 22nd after 26 races. He’s had a few good runs but not many. He was supposed to be the next big thing, but I haven’t seen much. He was brought into Cup to early, about 1 or 2 years to early in my opinion.

I don’t really see it. I don’t see him making the Chase any time soon. He’s just been an average driver since coming to the Cup Series and hasn’t really made much improvement. JGR needs to start giving him better equipment; or maybe it’s just Joey as a driver.

1994 honda accord engine swap?

I have a 1994 honda accord lx. It needs a new engine. I was wondering if I could swap it with an f23 from a 1998 accord. Wat would I need to complete the swap? Could I use the same tranny?

Hi Rick

The ’94 and ’98 Accords are different cars. The mounting points for engine and trans are different. Other things to consider are heater hose, radiator hose, throttle cable (if not electronic) positions. The engines also have different sensors fitted.
My suggestion get another 94 engine or rebuild your original.

Rotary engines are rear wheel drive, your Accord is front wheel drive.
